In the white noise of a time where pop music is endlessly booming out of millions of speakers, Get Well Soon has now built a fortress of silence. Rest Now, Weary Head! is the first album of the band of Konstantin Gropper. Here, he invites us to lean back for a while and close our eyes. Wounds are being bandaged, scars counted. - Breathe - Meanwhile, his music is wandering. Timelessly it roams about in genres: folk and electro are walking hand in hand, classical music is sketching the distant horizon - a faint memory of long gone eras - hook lines of pop music are lying at the wayside, waiting to be touched with the slightest irony.

Danny Michel
By this point, singer/songwriter Danny Michel must be a bit weary of being ranked as one of this country's undiscovered musical treasures. But it's true. The Guelph-based tunesmith makes great music that — apart from heaps of critical praise and some solid radio airplay for "Perfect" from 2003's perhaps too aptly titled Tales from the Invisible Man — has gone largely unrecognized. Im Alter von 15 fing Matthias an, Gitarre zu spielen (eigentlich schon mit neun, war aber von dem Volkshochschule Lehrplan nicht besonders fasziniert und brach schnell wieder ab). Wallis Bird
Wallis is a 23 year old Irish born singer who had an evident first love for music from the age of 2 when she got her first guitar! She has been involved in diverse projects, musically and otherwise since the age of 11, having written soundtracks to and acted in short films and plays. Wallis has been giging on the Irish music circuit since the age of 17, playing a catalogue of gigs from tiny, smokie, dim-lit bars to big bright festivals; all building up her reputation as a confident performer with songs written in many styles ranging from folk to rock to jazz to contemporary.
